Designation of certification

Certification is awarded to those who have successfully completed the certification process by meeting the eligibility criteria and passing a multiple choice written examination. The designated credential is Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP).

Certification is valid for a period of three (3) years. Recertification may be attained through contact hours of continuing education credit or by examination.

Hold a current NP license or state recognition of NP status (if outside the US, approved license by local state, province or country);

Exams are administered by C-NET. Please visit www.cnetnurse.com for complete details, including maps and directions for permanent exam  sites.
