Designation of certification

Certification is awarded to those who have successfully completed the certification process by meeting the eligibility criteria and passing a multiple-choice computer-based examination. The designated credential is Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP).

Certification is valid for a period of three (3) years. Re-certification may be attained through dermatology related CEU/CME credits or by repeated examination.

A current NP license or state recognition of NP status (if outside the US, approved license by local state, province or country) is required.
